...today started out very early. Mac had an appointment at the Arkansas Asthma and Allergy Clinic in Little Rock at 9:00 this morning. Since you never know how the traffic will be in LR, we left the house a little after 7:30. We arrived at Dr. Kagy's office about 8:40. We got in and out before our appointment time! I was thrilled. Update: Mac weighs 25 pounds and was 33 inches tall. He has grown quite a bit since we were there in November (the first time). His medication is doing it's job, and Dr. Kagy didn't change anything. She wants to see him back in December, and we will probably repeat the allergy tests.
After we left the clinic, we went to the Little Rock Zoo. We had a great time. We rode the train and the carousel Mac got to see his favorite animal...the gorilla (actually, any type of monkey), and Emma got to see her favorite animal...the lemur. After about 2 hours, they were both zonked out, so we headed to Wendy's for a quick lunch before heading to the VA hospital to see Randall at work. We visited for about 10 minutes, then headed home. Now it's time to head to church.
