On Wednesday nights during the summer at church, our children's program is called Valley Kids. It takes the place of AWANA while school is not in session. It is a wonderful program that keeps the children learning about Christ even though school is out. This summer they are studying the Armor of God. This past week, their lesson was on the Helmet of Salvation. I help out with the crafts for the 1st graders. Wednesday night they actually got to make the helmet. At the end of the program, they should have all the pieces of armor to wear. Even in Mac's nursery, they got to color their helmet, then the adults cut them out and made them to fit their heads. Mac wouldn't have anything to do with it on his head at church, but once we got home and for most of the morning yesterday, he wore it around. These are pics of Mac and Emma wearing their helmets.
