Last night we had supper at Memaw and Pepaw's house to celebrate Gramps and Grammy's birthday. Gramps had his birthday on Tuesday, June 2 (the same day as Ra-Ra's) and Grammy's birthday is today. Memaw cooked a wonderful meal, as usual. We had chicken and dressing, fruit salad, greens, peas, mashed potatoes, corn bread, rolls, and fresh veggies (cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions). She also made lemon and chocolate pies for dessert. It was wonderful. After the supper dishes were cleaned up, we had "present and card" time. We gave Grammy a Willow Tree figurine called "Generations." We had given Gramps his present earlier in the week...a camo bag to keep hunting "necessities" in. Memaw hadn't quite finished Grammy's cross-stitch picture yet, so she gave her some of the thread in her card. It was cute. After all the festivities, Randall, Emma, Mac, and I headed to Berryhill Park for the Relay of Life.
