This is too cute!!

I couldn't resist. We actually had this picture made around Mac's birthday, but for some reason, the computer wouldn't let me open it. I tried again today, and it opened. Isn't he just the most precious little man ever?

Memorial Day

It's hard to believe it is almost June!! Mac will be 16 months old next week, and Ra-Ra will be home from Iraq next week. We are also going on our first official family vacation since Mac joined our family. We are going to San Antonio to go to Sea World. Emma is extremely excited.

The last time Mac went to the doctor, he was 20 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 30 1/2 inches long. He is (at least they think) temporarily lactose intolerant. He had the stomach bug for a week, then couldn't take milk products after that. He is on soymilk until we return from vacation. We are hoping this is only temporary.
He still isn't walking yet, but we know he is close. He will stand behind Emma's baby stroller or his walking toys and push them across the living room. We are also looking for different childcare options for him for this fall.
On Memorial Day, we just hung out at home. The kids had a blast playing in the pool in the backyard.

Emma's Dance Recital

Emma took ballet, tap, and gymnastics at GymStars this year. She really enjoyed the gymnastics, and tap was ok, but she hated ballet. However, she did look beautiful in her butterfly costume for the recital.

Momma is so far behind...Emma turned 4 on April 26. We had a Hannah Montana birthday party. She was so excited because her best friend, Payton, was coming. They had the best time. Emma got lots of presents, especially clothes, which she desperately needed. She also got a new Disney Princess bicycle.
