This week, we are having Revival services at church...the same music group and evangalist that are here this week conducted revival services for us last year, and they are exceptional. The musical group is Testify. You can check out their website here.
The evangelist coming to speak is Steve Hale. You can check out his website here.
Services will be tonight at 6 pm and then Monday-Wednesday at 7 pm. On Wednesday, we will be having a catfish/chicken strip buffet for $3 a person. You can get directions and more information about the church here.

The End is Near
And by this, I mean the end of Spring Break. Yes, on Monday morning, I head back to work, Emma heads back to school, and Mac heads back to Miss Renee's. I have thoroughly enjoyed my week home with the kids, but I need a vacation from spring break. I am ready to get back into a routine (at least for another 2 months...). I am looking forward to going to Branson in a few weeks with Grammy and the kids. Gramps and Daddy are going turkey hunting, so we decided we would head up to Branson for a couple of days. I am also on the lookout for fun things to do over summer vacation that are cheap but entertaining. If you have any ideas, please send them my way!!

Easter pictures
If you go to Picture Me! Portrait Studios you can preview Emma and Mac's Easter pictures. Keep in mind, the pictures they post on here are before any edits are done. I ordered the special (8x10, 2-5x7, and several smaller pictures) and a collage that has a picture of both kids together, then a picture of each one separately. I have always had good pictures taken at WalMart, and their prices are pretty reasonable. You can usually catch coupons in the Sunday papers, or you can sign up on their website for coupons!
Spring Break- Day 5
Today was a pretty lazy day. We didn't really get out and do anything until I took the kids to WalMart to have their Easter pictures taken. They turned out really well!! I was very pleased. This morning, our neighbor, Mrs. Becky, and her daughter, Mrs. Amy (Emma's kindergarten teacher) had a garage sale, so Emma was over there most of the morning with Haley and Sarah having a cookie/lemonade stand. The day has been pretty relaxing. Emma is spending the night with Grandma tonight, and Mac is going to stay here and keep me company because Randall is still in Augusta with the Sportsmen's Fellowship from church. They are fishing!

Spring Break- Day 4
Today we didn't do a whole lot. I started out the day with a headache, but we did the one thing Emma had asked to do. She wanted to visit.....
We started going here last summer. We go in and just enjoy looking at the different animals. Today, we happened to be there when they were getting ready to clean out the dog cage. They only had 2 Chihuahua puppies, and the worker asked Emma if she would like to play with one of them while he cleaned the cage. He then let her keep it out until we were ready to leave. She absolutely loved it!! Mac had fun, too, but of course, he just went from animal to animal. The funny conversation of the day went like this...
E: "Momma, what's that animal?" (pointing to a rat)
Me: "That's a rat."
E: "Why in the world would anyone want a rat for a pet? That's gross!"
Me: "My thoughts exactly!!"
After we left the Fish Bowl, we headed to Aunt Debbie's office to give her Mac's birthday pictures (yes, a little late, I know!!). We then headed to Grammy's office for a few minutes. When we left, I decided it was close to lunch and I was still hoping to get rid of my headache. We headed to a local restaurant...
...that serves great plate lunches as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, and the like. The kids always enjoy going to Frozen Delite, and I enjoy it, too. We often forget about it because it's off the main roads, but it was great today! I had a burger and fries, Mac had a corn dog and tater tots, and Emma had chicken strips and fries. I really wanted to try the thin mint milkshake, but I decided against it. I may have to head back another day and give it a try.
All in all, we had a good day. Tomorrow, the only thing planned is to take the kids to
at Walmart to have the kids' Easter pictures made together...I can't wait!
