Merry Christmas

On Tuesday, I took Emma and Mac to my parents' house so Grammy could take pictures for our Christmas cards. The kids did not want to cooperate!! Luckily, I got a few that I really liked and used on the cards!! On Friday night, we went to Berryhill Park to look at Christmas lights, then went to First Assembly of God to drive through the Living Nativity. It was great. We are now on to our next big milestone...we are getting ready to potty train. Mac is very interested in going to the bathroom. We bought him a potty on Friday night just to get him used to having it in the bathroom. I plan on spending the first few days of Christmas vacation really working on it. My mindset is that he is on 22 months old...if it works, it works. If not, we'll work on it more when he's a little older.

Please keep Mac in your prayers tomorrow. He goes back to the Arkansas Allergy and Asthma Clinic to see the respiratory therapist and Dr. Kagy to see if his medicine is working. It seems to be...our only complaint is that the steroid in the medicine is keeping him (and us) up at night. At least he isn't coughing anymore!!

22 month update: Mac weighs 23 pounds. He is talking up a storm...his favorite words: cup, potty, color, Sissy, Momma, Daddy, outside, Nay-Nay (his babysitter), church, cold, bath, car, and go. His favorite shows to watch are Yo Gabba Gabba and Little Einsteins, but he'll actually sit and watch just about anything. He loves to color and play with the Doodle Pro and his cars (of which he is getting many for Christmas). He is loving this time of the year. As we drive down the streets after dark and he sees Christmas lights, he is constantly saying, "Sissy, Sissy," at every house he sees. I am glad he is big enough to enjoy all this, yet sad because my last little baby isn't really a baby anymore! :(
