More Vacation

Sea World was not the only place we visited while in San Antonio. We strolled down the River Walk on many occasions, went to the San Antonio Zoo and the Alamo, and of course, did some shopping. The kids did not want to come home when it was time. We didn't take as long coming home as we did coming down. We left on Saturday, June 14, and got home on Father's Day.

Our Vacation to San Antonio

We finally got to take our first family vacation last week. We went to San Antonio, Texas. We left on Thursday, June 5, when Randall got off work. We drove to Mount Pleasant, TX, where we spent the night. Friday, we got up and drove to Dallas, where we spent most of the day. We went to Cabella's (Daddy loves hunting stores!!) and then drove on to Waco, where we spent the night. We finally got to San Antonio on Saturday about 11:00. We couldn't check in to our hotel until 3:00, so we went straight to Sea World. Emma and Mac loved it from the minute we drove into the parking lot. We had bought season passes so we could go as many times as we wanted. We definitely made good use of those, because we went 4 times. Mac's favorites were the seals and anything that was in an aquarium. Emma's favorites were the dolphins and Shamu.
